So assuming that Sony can keep noise at marginally better than the A100 (and after 2 and a bit years of development that shouldnt be hard) then a 14mp sensor, with a weak AA filter, and decent noise control could make killer iso 100, 200, 400 and 800 images. More MP can mean better images, but over at lower sensitivities. Oh by the way do you know if the live view lcd bends upwards as well? All the pics of the lcd so far have it aimed down. Looks like I'll get to stay with Minolta- I mean Sony. I think the A350 should be the A900 instead and just make it the flagship. Still, 14 mp is a lot for an amateur camera. The A350 is basically an A200 with a 14mp CCD and liveview, I believe. So, where does this leave A700, what has it got on the A350?Īrkku, AFAIK, some of the A700's advantages are magnesium shell (except for the back,) higher fps, more AF points with special 2.8 sensor, more advanced quick-navi system, user settings memory, bigger viewfinder, etc. More pixels on the a350 than on the 700 ? like the canon 450 vs.
